In the Rising Star Asia Cup, Pakistan Women beat Nepal Women’s team by 30 runs.

In the match played in Bangkok, Nepal won and invited Pakistan to bat first, in reply the national team scored 137 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Captain Hafsa Khalid from Pakistan remained unbeaten with 40 runs in 39 balls with 2 fours and 1 six and a brilliant batsman.

Chasing a target of 138 runs, the Nepali women’s team scored just 107 runs for the loss of 6 wickets and thus the national team won the first group match by 30 runs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Anusha Nasir took 3 wickets, Momina Rashta took 2 wickets and Waheeda Akhtar took 1 wicket.

In the event, Pakistan team will play their opening group match against arch-rivals India on Sunday and then on February 17, the match will be played against UAE.
