Pakistan women cricket team will start their T20 International series against South Africa from today.

This is the Pakistan Women’s team’s bilateral tour to South Africa from 2021, where three T20 matches will be played on February 10, 13 and 16 and the match will start at 9:00 pm Pakistan time.

The Pakistan Women’s team will be captained by Fatima Sana and the captain of the host team Laura Wollwardt. Before the series, a week-long training camp was organized for the Pakistan team in Karachi, which included practice sessions and competitions based on different match situations.

It should be noted that this series is considered very important for both the teams in terms of preparations for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2026, which will be held from June 12 to July 5 in England and Wales.

Speaking to PCB Digital ahead of the series, Pakistan women’s team captain Fatima Sana said that we are working on playing fearless cricket and we are confident that it will pay off. The pitches here are fast, the batsmen get a good ball on the bat and are helpful for fast bowlers.

He also said, South Africa is a strong team, we will go to the field for the best results. Our team is very young and this series will give them valuable experience in international cricket.
