After Sri Lanka, the Emirates Cricket Board also asked Pakistan to reconsider its decision not to play the February 15 match against India.

According to reports, the Emirates Cricket Board has contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board and requested that the decision not to play the February 15 match against India be replayed.

According to sources, the Emirates Cricket Board has proposed a decision in favor of cricket.

It is to be noted that Bangladesh have expressed security concerns for their team’s participation in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 in India and requested a change of venue, which was rejected by the ICC.

Bangladesh announced that they would withdraw from the event in protest, so instead of talking to Bangladesh, the ICC excluded Bangladesh from the event and included Scotland.

Later, Pakistan termed the Cricket Council’s move as a double standard and shocked the cricket world by announcing a boycott of the match against India in solidarity with Bangladesh.
