Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam has left for Pakistan to attend the ICC emergency meeting.
According to sources, Aminul Islam is likely to attend important emergency meetings of Pakistan Cricket Board and ICC, the heads of both the cricket boards will attend the ICC meeting online.
According to sources, BCB Chairman Aminul Islam is expected to meet Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and the current situation related to T20 World Cup will be discussed in detail and other cricket related issues will also be discussed.
Sources said that after attending the ICC meeting, Aminul Islam will leave for Dhaka in the evening.
It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh had requested to host their T20 World Cup matches in Sri Lanka instead of India due to threats from Hindu extremists and security concerns.
Against this decision, Pakistan with the full support of Bangladesh registered its strong protest and as a protest announced the boycott of the group match with India on February 15.
