The auction date for Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans has been revealed.
According to PSL officials, the Multan Sultans auction for the 11th edition will be held on February 9 in Lahore.
A total of 5 bidders will compete for the ownership rights of Multan Sultans, who have been selected by the Promotion Committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to the PCB, a total of 6 bids were received within the stipulated time, after which 5 bidders were accepted after a detailed and transparent technical evaluation and will now participate in the auction.
Ali Tareen, the former owner of Multan Sultans, had refused to renew his 10-year ownership contract after the PCB announced the auction of the franchise.
