Pakistan hockey team’s participation in the tournament has been delayed.

According to sources, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) officials have contacted the Australian High Commission to issue visas and PHF has confirmed to issue the visa soon after changing the visa category.

In this regard, news sources reported that Pakistan’s hockey team could not travel to Australia last night due to the delay in visa issuance.

According to information, the practice match with Australia has also been postponed and instead of February 6, it will now be played on February 8.

It is worth mentioning that in the second round of the Pro Hockey League, the Pakistan team will play in Hobart from February 10 to 14 and Pakistan will face Australia and Germany.

On the other hand, the captain of the Amadabat national hockey team, before going to Australia for the competition, in a special conversation with Geonews, said that the pressure of the big teams in the pro-league is not on Pakistan, but Pakistan will put pressure on them and it is our strategy to put this pressure on the big teams.
