Former Pakistan Cricket Team captain Shahid Afridi termed the government’s decision not to play the match against India in the ICCT World Twenty20 as the best.
Martyr Efrini expressed his views on Xe social network and said, “I always believe that when the doors of politics are closed, the crisis can open the doors.”
Shahid Afridi said that Pakistan’s failure to play in the ICCT World Twenty20 against India is certainly disappointing, but he is with his government in this decision.
Martyr Afrini said that this time is a test for the ICC to prove with its decisions instead of words that the board is impartial, independent and fair to all member countries.
It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh had requested the ICC to shift all their matches in the T20 World Cup to Sri Lanka on the basis of insecurity in India, but instead of understanding and resolving the issue, the ICC included Scotland.
Following this situation, the Pakistan government decided not to participate in the high-voltage match against India on February 15, to show solidarity with Bangladesh.
