Traditional cricket rivals Pakistan and India will meet on February 15.
According to reports, Pakistan has decided to participate in the T20 World Cup starting February 7, but the national cricket team will not play the scheduled match against India on February 15 in protest.
On the other hand, on the same day, Pakistan and India will meet in the ACC group match of the Women’s Rising Stars Asia Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
The training camp for the event, which will be held between February 13-22 in Bangkok, continues in Karachi.
On Monday at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center, an attempt was made to develop the skills of the selected players in a practice match.
At the end of the camp, Pakistan Women’s A Team will travel to Thailand on February 10.
8 teams will participate in the T20 format tournament. Pakistan are in Group A along with India, UAE and Nepal, while Group B hosts Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
Four countries will have their national women’s teams and 4 A teams.
Pakistan’s first match will be against Nepal on February 13, second against India on February 15 and third match against UAE on February 17.
The semi-final will be played on February 20 and the final on February 22.
