The Pakistan government has decided to boycott the national team’s match against India in the T20 World Cup.

According to reports, the Pakistan team will not only lose 2 valuable points for boycotting the match, but the final score will also be affected.

If Pakistan don’t play the match, India will get 2 points while sitting and the score will remain intact.

According to ICC Rules 16.10.7, if a team refuses to play a match, that team’s net score will still count as if that team had played 20 full overs in that match.

That is, it will be considered that Pakistan bowled the entire 20 overs and did not concede a single run, so Pakistan’s net score will be negatively affected.

It should be noted that the T20 World Cup will start from February 7.

Pakistan is in Group A along with India, Namibia, Netherlands and USA.

Pakistan will play their first match against Netherlands on February 7. The second match will be played against USA on February 10 and the fourth match will be played against Namibia on February 18.
