Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the good performance of the Pakistan Cricket team and congratulated the cricket fans for their victory in the first match of the T20 series between Pakistan and Australia.
The Prime Minister in his message on the social media site ‘X’ said that the Pakistan Cricket team’s players, especially the players, showed a brilliant game.
He said that the victory in the match against a strong team like Australia after a long time is undoubtedly the result of the hard work of the players, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi, his team and his coaches also deserve praise for this success.
1st T20I: Pakistan make a winning start, defeat Australia by 22 runs
The prime minister said that he wished the Pakistan cricket team all the best for the upcoming matches of the series.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan defeated Australia by 22 runs in the first match of the T20 series yesterday.
It was Pakistan’s first T20 win against Australia in 7 years, the last time the national team won against the Kangaroos in 2019.
