Mitchell Marsh is unlikely to be captain in the first T20 match against Pakistan

Report: Soheyl Imran. Travis Head is likely to make Australia’s squad in the first match of the T20 series starting tomorrow against Pakistan.

According to reports in Australia, regular captain Mitchell Marsh is considered to be rested for the first T20 match.

Australian media say wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Ingles may also be rested in the opening match.

Mitchell Marsh and Josh Ingles played in the Big Bash League (BBL) final on Sunday, prompting management to place both players under load management.

The first match of the T20 series between Pakistan and Australia will be played tomorrow where both teams are in the final stage of preparations.

The Australian team arrives in Lahore today and fans are keeping an eye on possible changes in the Australian playing XI ahead of the start of the series.

The three match T20 series between Pakistan and Australia teams will be played from tomorrow which is scheduled to be played on January 29 and 31, while the final match will be played on February 1.
