Pakistan won and decided to face New Zealand first in the Super Six stage of the ICC U-19 World Cup.

It is worth mentioning that to reach the semi-finals of the U-19 World Cup, Pakistan must win both the Super Six stage matches and improve their run rate.

Pakistan will play their second Super Six match against arch-rivals India at the Queen’s Sports Club, Bulawayo on Sunday, February 1.

The Pakistan U-19 team held a practice session ahead of their match against New Zealand at the Takashinga Sports Club, Harare on Monday. Under the supervision of captain Farhan Yusif, the team took part in field training and net rounds where the players prepared themselves extensively under the supervision of coach Shahid Anwar.

Speaking to PCB Digital, Pakistan U-19 team captain Farhan Yusif said that the team’s preparations for the match against New Zealand in the Super Six stage have been hectic and the players have worked hard.
