New Zealand set Pakistan a target of 111 runs to win the Super Six stage of the ICC U-19 World Cup.
Pakistan U-19 captain Farhan Yousuf won and decided to bowl first which was dangerous for New Zealand.
The Kiwi U-19 team looked helpless against the Pakistani batsmen and were bowled out for 110 runs in 28.3 overs.
On behalf of New Zealand, only the opening batsman Hugo Bogue became the famous batsman with 39 runs, 6 of his batsmen could not write double figures, out of these 2 batsmen came out of zero.
On behalf of Pakistan, Ali Raza dismissed 3 players, Abdul Subhan took 4 wickets and Muhammad Seyam and Momin Qamar each took a wicket.
It is worth mentioning that to reach the semi-finals of the U-19 World Cup, Pakistan must win both the Super Six stage matches and improve their run rate.
In the Super Six stage of the U-19 World Cup, the Pakistan team will face arch-rivals India on Sunday, February 1, at the Queen’s Sports Club, Bulawayo.
