Pakistan will face New Zealand in the Super Six round of the U-19 World Cup today

Pakistan U-19 team will play their first match against New Zealand U-19 in Super Six stage of ICC Men’s U-19 Cricket World Cup today.

The match between the two teams will be played at Harare Sports Club and the match will start at 09:30 local time and the match will be at 09:00.

Pakistan will play their second Super Six match against arch-rivals India at the Queen’s Sports Club, Bulawayo on Sunday, February 1.

It is worth mentioning that to reach the semi-finals of the U-19 World Cup, Pakistan must win both the Super Six stage matches and improve their run rate.

The Pakistan U-19 team held a practice session ahead of their match against New Zealand at the Takashinga Sports Club, Harare on Monday. Under the supervision of captain Farhan Yusif, the team took part in field training and net rounds where the players prepared themselves extensively under the supervision of coach Shahid Anwar.

Speaking to PCB Digital, Pakistan U-19 team captain Farhan Yusif said that the team’s preparations for the match against New Zealand in the Super Six stage have been hectic and the players have worked hard.

He said that every match is very important in the qualifying phase and the team will focus on one match, every player in the team plays a full role on the field and Ali Raza’s performance gave new confidence to the bowling unit.
