South African spinner Tabrez Shamsi has praised young Pakistani batsman Khawaja Nafi, calling him a potential surprise package for the T20 World Cup.
It is worth mentioning that Khawaja Nafi has also been included in the national team in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Tabriz Shamsi praised Khawaja Nafi on his social media account and said, Khawaja Nafi is a serious player and can be the surprise package of the World Cup.
The South African spinner said he spent time with Nafee during the Global Super League, saying he was a hard-working, self-motivated and ambitious player.
Earlier, former Indian spinner Ashwin also called Nafee as a player to watch.
