U-19 World Cup Super Six Stage: India-Pakistan match date announced

The thrilling match between Pakistan and India in the Super Six stage of the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 will be played on February 1 at the Queen’s Sports Club, Bulawayo.

In the last match of the group stage played yesterday, India won the first place in Group B after defeating New Zealand by 7 wickets.

On behalf of India, RS Ambrish took 4 wickets with a brilliant bowling performance, while captain Ayush Mahatre played a vital role in the team’s victory. India finished the group stage undefeated.

After the end of the group stage, the ranking of the Super Six stage was also revealed, where the three teams from Group A and D are in Group One of the Super Six and the three teams from Group B and C are in the second group.

Two-time champions Pakistan, who finished second in Group C, advance to the Super Six stage with two points from their win over Zimbabwe.

Pakistan team will play their first Super Six match on January 27 against New Zealand at Harare Sports Club while the second and most important match will be against India on February 1.

Pakistan will need to win both the Super Six matches to reach the semi-finals. It is worth remembering that the top 2 teams from each Super Six group will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will be played on February 3 and 4 and the final of the tournament will be played on February 6 at the Harare Sports Club.
