India defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

India scored 130 runs for 3 wickets in 37 overs due to rain. In another match, Japan defeated Tanzania by 9 wickets.

The match between India and New Zealand in Bulawayo was affected by rain, so the innings of the New Zealand team, who batted first, was limited to 37 overs, in which the Kiwi team was bowled out for 135 runs.

Calum Samson played an impressive innings with 38 runs, Ambrish took 4 wickets and Hanil Patel took 3 wickets.

India were given a revised target of 130 runs in 37 overs, which they managed for the loss of 3 wickets, with Ayush Mahatre scoring 53 and Surya Vanshi 40.

In the next match played in Windhoek, Japan defeated Tanzania by 9 wickets.
