The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member national squad for the three-match T20 International series against Australia.
All matches of the series between the teams of the two countries will be played on January 29 and January 31 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the final match will be played on February 1.
National captains Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have returned to the T20 squad, having been absent from the three-match series against Sri Lanka in January.
Shadab Khan will continue his comeback journey and be a part of the national team in the spin bowling department along with Ebrar Ahmed, Muhammad Nawaz and Usman Tariq.
Pakistan’s team and support staff will report to Lahore on Saturday, January 24, while the team will begin regular preparations for the series from January 25.
The Australian team will arrive in Pakistan on February 28. This will be Australia’s second series of the T20 format in Pakistan, having previously played one T20 match at the Gaddafi Stadium in April 2022.
