The dispute between Steve Smith and Babar Azam in the Big Bash League is still being discussed in the Australian media.
According to the Australian media, Babar Azam called not hitting Steve Smith as an insult, Babar Azam of Sydney Sixers stayed in the changing room, did not meet anyone.
Australian media say that Babar Azam felt disrespected by fellow cricketer Steve Smith and became angry. Babar Azam did not come to the Sydney Cricket Ground to shake hands with the Sydney Thunder players.
Babar Azam isolated himself from his teammates, showed a surprising anger, the coach tried to talk about it.
The Australian media claimed that Steve Smith told Babar Azam in the 10th over that he would bowl the first ball of the power surge, Steve Smith scored 32 runs which Babar Azam was not happy about.
On Babar Azam’s boundary hit, former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh said, “Don’t say what you feel, it’s not good for the team atmosphere.”

Michael Vaughan and Adam Gilchrist also fouled Babar Azam.
“Sometimes there are decisions in support of the team that you don’t like,” said Michael Vaughan.
Adam Gilchrist said: “I was disappointed to see all of this. He is a class player. He was very good in the tournament, the way he went out and went, what he did to teach the kids about teamwork on the floor and sportsmanship.”
It is worth mentioning that in the two-day match against Sydney Thunder, Steve Smith, the batsman of Sydney Sixers, refused to fall on Babar Azam’s shot.
Babar Azam was unhappy with Steve Smith’s lack of runs and even showed his displeasure by hitting a boundary line after being dismissed.
