For the first time in the PSL, the players will be auctioned, yesterday in a meeting with CEO Salman Naseer, most of the franchises expressed their readiness for the auction.
It will be done with the approval of the board of directors, the team owners will be informed about the auction process in a workshop on Sunday.

On the other hand, all the 5 old franchises wanted to keep 4 players including the brand ambassador, the new teams asked for zero retention, the final decision will be taken by the president.
It is worth remembering that in the meeting of the PSL Board of Directors on Friday, the Board of Directors Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also tried to convince the team owners that the open auction formula should be accepted, it will benefit the players a lot.
