The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Men’s Player of the Month.
Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has been awarded the men’s player of the month for December 2025 by the ICC.
It should be noted that Mitchell Starc won this award based on his outstanding performance in the home Ashes series against England, where he played a vital role in Australia’s victory.
Mitchell Starc expressed his happiness on receiving the award and said that it is a great honor for him to receive this award after the success of the Ashes series at home.
He said that winning this historic series in front of the home crowd is a memorable moment that the team will remember for a long time.
He added that the team’s focus is now on preparing for the finals of the ICC World Cup.
West Indies’ Justin Graves and New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy were also in the running for the award.
Justin Graves scored his maiden double century against New Zealand in the Christchurch Test while Jacob Duffy took 25 wickets in the series against West Indies as the Black Caps won 2-0.
