The Bangladesh Cricket Board has removed Nazul Islam as the director of the board, and Nazul Islam was the chairman of the board’s finance committee.
The players demanded the resignation of Nazul Islam.
In the statement issued by the Bangladesh Cricket Board, it was said that after evaluating the recent events, for the benefit of the game, the BCB president decided to release Nazul-ul-Islam.
BCB says that the decision to expel Nazul Islam has been made according to the BCB’s constitution, now the BCB president will act as the head of the finance committee.
The statement said that BCB hopes that Bangladesh will continue to play the game with professionalism and passion for the betterment of cricket and the players will ensure its continuation by participating in the Bangladesh Premier League.
It is worth mentioning that the Bangladesh cricketers had demanded the resignation of the Director of the Board Nazul Islam.
