Organizing the T20 World Cup 2026 in India has become a headache for all the participating countries including the ICC.

The Pakistan team will play all their matches in Sri Lanka instead of India under the hybrid model deal.

On the other hand, the Bangladesh team has also refused to go to India for the T20 World Cup.

Against these circumstances, India itself uses delaying tactics in issuing visas to players of Pakistani origin to many teams.

After it was confirmed that four players of Pakistani origin, including American Ali Khan, were denied visas to India, now there are reports that players of Pakistani origin in England have also been denied visas.

According to reports, Adil Rashid and Rehan Ahmed are yet to be granted visas to India as they belong to Pakistan, with both players unlikely to travel with the England squad for the 6-match warm-up series against Sri Lanka this week.

It is worth recalling that two years ago, Shoaib Bashir failed to participate in England’s Test Opening tour of India after which he had to return to London to complete the visa process, while Saqib Mehmood also faced visa issues.
