The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the Pakistan Women’s ODI and T20 squads for the upcoming tour of South Africa, which will begin on February 10.

Fatima Sana will continue to lead the team in both formats while the series is part of preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in June.

The team’s mentor on the tour will be Wahab Riaz, who will be assisted by an experienced coaching staff, including Imran Farhat (Batting Director), Umid Asif (Fast Bowling Coach), Abdul Rahman (Light Bowling Coach) and Abdul Majeed (Fielding Coach).

It is worth remembering that the pre-series training camp will start from January 1 at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center in Qarechokh.

The T20 matches will be played from February 10 to 16 in Potchefstroom, Benoni and Kimberley, all day-night matches. The Pakistan team will then play a 50-over warm-up match in Kimberley before the ODI series, which will be played later in the day.

The three-match ODI series will be played between February 22 and March 1 in Bloemfontein, Centurion and Durban.

The Pakistan Women’s team is visiting South Africa for the first time since January 2021 for a bilateral series. Earlier in February 2023, Pakistan played matches in Cape Town and Paarl in South Africa during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
