National all-rounder Shadab Khan has announced that he will not play the remaining matches for Team Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League 15.
Shadab Khan is currently participating in the T20 series against Sri Lanka with the Pakistan Cricket team and was initially expected to return to the Big Bash League, but has now confirmed through a social media post that he is not returning to the league.
In his message, Shadab thanked the players, managers and staff of Sydney Thunder and said that he enjoyed his time with the Sydney Thunder team, even though the team did not go to the finals this time.
According to reports, Shadab has decided to quit the league to focus on his preparations for the T20 World Cup 2026.
It is worth mentioning that in this Big Bash League season, Shadab Khan played 6 matches representing Sydney Thunder, took 7 wickets and scored 104 runs in those matches.
