BBL: Mohammed Rizwan was called off the field by the captain while batting

In the 33rd match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 15, Melbourne Renegades took a surprising decision and called the wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan from the batting area.

During the match against Sydney Thunders in Sydney, Renegades captain Will Sutherland called Mohammad Rizwan back to the pavilion and decided to come into the field to throw himself, which can be clearly seen in the video shared by BBL on social media.

Mohammed Rizwan, the representative of Melbourne Renegades, scored only 26 runs off 23 balls, but he did not bowl 9 balls.

He had two fours and a six, while his strike rate was just 113 runs.

Muhammad Rizwan scored 167 runs in eight matches at an average of 20.88 while failing to score a half century.

In the match, Melbourne Renegades batted first and scored 170 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Hasan Khan excelled with 46 runs off 31 balls which included four fours and four sixes.

David Wiley, Ryan Headley and Wes Agar took two wickets each for Sydney Thunder.
