He said that Pakistan is playing teams in the pro-league that they haven’t played against for years, but Pakistan will see a big improvement in the pro-league until the last four matches.
The head coach said that there was pressure until the first match of the competition against the world champion Netherlands, but now there is no competition pressure, the atmosphere of the competition has been created for us, there will be no pressure against Australia and Germany in the next round.
Hockey coach Tahir Zaman continued to say that the Pro League will help in the World Cup qualifiers held in Egypt, in the World Cup qualifiers they will face teams like Malaysia, China, Japan and Chile which Pakistan has won many times.
Tahir Zaman said that to be honest, they are in a position to win two matches against Germany in the next round of the pro league without scoring against Germany and Australia.
Tahir Zaman said about India that India has been targeted in the pro-league, they will win both the pro-league matches against India.
Talking about the revival of national hockey, the head coach said that giving the players jobs, daily allowances, professional league and central contracts will bring Pakistan hockey back, while facing the daily challenges for the national hockey players on foreign tours.
Finally, Tahir Zaman said that if he can start a hockey league in Pakistan today, because the hockey league with the participation of international players is necessary for the revival of Pakistan hockey.
