The announcement of Pakistan Cricket Team final squad for T20 World Cup 2026 is possible in a day or two.
After playing the T20 series with Sri Lanka, the national team will return home today, while the foreign staff including captain Mike Hesson will arrive in Lahore.
The final team will be selected in consultation with captain Salman Agha and head coach Mike Hesson.
Pakistan is also ready to host the matches of the Bangladesh team in the T20 World Cup
According to information, Abdul Samed, Wasim Jr. and Khawaja Nafee are unlikely to feature in the 15-man squad, while crisis players dropped from the Sri Lanka tour will be on the reserve list.
After the approval of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, the World Cup squad will be announced. The training camp for the preparation of the mega event will be held from January 15.
