In the third and final T20 match, Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by 14 runs to level the series 1-1.

The final and deciding match played at Dambulla was delayed due to rain, it was restricted to 12 runs per innings.

Pakistan won and invited Sri Lanka to bat first, who set 160 runs for 6 wickets in the allotted overs when they batted first and set a target of 161 runs for the green shirts.

Sri Lanka captain Dasan Shanaka 34, Kaushal Mendis 30, Janath Liange and Dinanjaya De Silva scored 22 and 22 runs respectively and Pakistan’s Wasim Jr. 3, Muhammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf and Nasim Shah took 1 and 1 wicket respectively.

Chasing a target of 161 runs, the Pakistani team managed to score only 146 runs for 8 wickets in 12 overs, Salman Ali Agha being the top scorer with 45 runs.

Muhammad Nawaz scored 28 runs and Khawja Nafi who played the first match scored 26 runs and Sahibzada Farhan scored 9 runs, Saim Ayub 6, Usman Khan 1, Shadab Khan 6 and Fahim Ashraf returned to the pavilion after 9 runs.

From Sri Lanka Vinandu Hasaranga 4 and Prathi Rana 2 and Ishan Malinga 1.

In the first match of the series, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets and the second match was canceled due to rain.
