Egypt’s world number 15 Ferris Dasouki defied the referee’s decision in the second round of the ongoing tournament at the DHA Creek Club against world under-23 champion and number 38 Noor Zaman.
The player also questioned the referee’s nationality, after which a tense situation arose.
In the third game where Noor Zaman won 3-7, the Egyptian player expressed his anger at this decision. Despite repeated warnings, they kept coming out on the pitch to argue and shout loudly, then referee Noor Zaman declared a 0-3 winner.
