In the final Test of the Ashes, Australia won the series 1-4.

In the Test match played in Sydney, Australia, he scored 160 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Marnes Labushin 37, Jack Weatherold 34, Travis Head, captain Steve Smith 12 and Usman Khawaja, playing his last Test, scored 6 runs.

Cameron Greene scored 22 and Alex Carey, who played the winning wicket, was out for 16 runs.

Josh Ting took 3 wickets and Will Jacks 1 wicket for England.

Earlier, England started the innings on the fifth day with 302 runs and 8 players, then after an increase of 40 runs, the whole team was out for 342 runs.

Aqub Bethel, who made his first century, was dismissed for 154 runs. Ben Duckett and Harry Brooke scored 42 and 42 respectively.

Bev Webster and Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets each for Australia, Scott Boland 2 wickets and Michael Nesser 1 wicket each.

Mitchell Starc was adjudged Man of the Series for taking 31 wickets in the series.

It must be noted that England won and batted first, scoring 384 runs thanks to Joe Root’s 160 runs.

Australia’s Michael Nesser took 4 wickets, Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland took 2 wickets each, Cameron Green and Marence Labushin took one wicket each.

In reply to England’s first innings, Australia scored 567 runs and took a lead of 183 runs. Travis Head was dismissed after making 163 runs. It was his third century in the ongoing Ashes series.

Marence Labushin scored 48, Cameron Green 37, Michael Nesser 24, Jack Weatherold 21, Usman Khawaja 17 and Alex Carey scored 16 and Bev Webster remained unbeaten with 71 runs.

For England, Brayden Carse and Josh Ting took 3, 3, Ben Stokes 2, while Jacob Bethel and Will Jacks took a wicket each.
