The Bangladesh Cricket Board has categorically refused to send its team to India for the World Cup, saying that they will not compromise on the safety of the players or the country’s honour.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCC) President Eminul Islam and Sports Advisor Dr.

Dr. Asif said that we are not sending our team to India for the World Cup and we are not compromising the safety of our players and the honor of the country.

He openly said that apart from India, other places can send teams to Sri Lanka.

He said that we hope that the ICC will consider our concerns and that our position will be heard impartially.

Dr. Asif said that Bangladesh has appeared for the World Cup, looking at the prestige of our country and the players, we want to play the World Cup in another place other than India.
