Bangladesh Cricket Board Chief Executive Asif Akbar has made a categorical statement about not sending the Indian team to the ICCT World Twenty20.
Bangladesh Cricket Board official Asif Akbar says that under no circumstances should we go to India for the World Cup.
Asif Akbar took a strong stand regarding India and said that we have decided not to go to India because we are not safe there.
Asif Akbar said that the ICC selection of Sri Lanka or Bangladesh is like a different place.
Earlier, Bangladeshi quick Mustafizur Rahman was dropped from the team by IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders on the instructions of the Indian Cricket Board following threats from extremists.
It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh was placed in Group C with England, West Indies, Nepal and Italy.
Apart from the group matches, there may be other changes in the schedule if Bangladesh reaches the Super Eight stage, so cricket fans will also have to change their travel and other plans.
On the other hand, the Indian media has once again started propaganda with a provocative statement and it is said that Bangladesh is not as important as Pakistan for the ICC and if it refuses, Bangladesh may suffer.
