Brisbane Heat say Zaman Khan has been cleared by the BBL Technical Committee to play as a substitute and will be available for Saturday’s match against Sydney Thunders.
Brisbane Heat coach Yohan Botha hailed the inclusion of Zaman Khan as a welcome addition to the team, saying Zaman Khan is a true fast bowler who knows how to control his pace.
The Brisbane Heat coach also said that Zaman Khan can complement our bowling attack perfectly and he has refined his bowling over time.
Zaman Khan previously represented Sydney Thunder in BBL Season 13, where he took 8 wickets in four matches at an average of 16.38.
It is worth recalling that Pakistan team’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi injured his knee while playing for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League and the Pakistan Cricket Board called him home for rehabilitation.
