World famous tennis star and 24 Grand Slam title holder Novak Djokovic has announced his withdrawal from the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA).
Novak Djokovic made this announcement in his message on social media, in which he said that after careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw completely from the Association of Professional Tennis Players.
“I made this decision after concerns about transparency management and the way my voice and image have been portrayed, but I will focus on contributing to my tennis family and my game in any way I can,” he said.
Novak Djokovic said: “My breath will reflect my principles and my integrity and my best wishes are with the players moving forward but this part is closed from my end.”
It should be noted that Novak Djokovic was among the founders of the Players Association.
Twenty-four-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic has asked the association to bring the voice of individual sports freelancers to relevant platforms.
The association’s platform raised concerns about the players’ well-being and scheduling, while the association also sued the International Tennis Federation and the Sports Confederation Agency over the Men’s and Women’s Tours.
