Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Usman Khan is hoping to win the ICC Twenty20 World Cup under head coach Mike Hesson.
Dhaka Capitals representative in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Usman Khan told Cricket website that our coach Mike Hesson has prepared us very well before the World Cup, the team will prepare well by playing series against Sri Lanka and Australia before the World Cup.
He said that the team combination is good and we are determined to perform well in Sri Lankan conditions.
National batsman Usman Khan will join the Pakistan squad in Sri Lanka next week, where a three-match T20I series will be played from January 7 in Dambulla.
Usman Khan said that he is going to Sri Lanka for the first time and understanding the wickets will be a big opportunity before the World Cup.
Usman Khan expressed his desire to finish the match as a batsman and said that he also learned from the greats like Muhammad Rizwan, Sarfraz Ahmed and Babar Azam and wants to finish the match like them.
It is worth mentioning that Usman Khan had decided to quit representing the UAE and play for Pakistan in 2023. Because of this decision he was banned by the Emirates Cricket Board, but he says that representing Pakistan was his old dream.
Usman Khan said that I have played a lot of cricket for UAE, but Pakistan is my first choice, it is my country and people and I thank God that I got the opportunity to play for Pakistan.
