Pakistan star Babar Azam created a new history in the Big Bash League.

In the match played at Dockland Melbourne, Babar Azam represented Sydney Sixers and scored a half century against Melbourne Renegades and led his team to victory.

Babar Azam, the opener, scored 58 runs off 46 balls with the help of four fours and a six.

Meanwhile, Babar Azam became the first batsman to score a half-century in Big Bash League 2026 while overall it is Babar Azam’s second half-century in the current BBL season.

On the other hand, Babar’s compatriot Muhammad Rizwan, who represents Melbourne Renegades, scored 6 runs from 10 balls.
