As the ongoing draw for the regular selection for FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets reaches the halfway stage, the amazing interest of the fans has set new records.
So far, more than 150 million ticket requests have been received from more than 200 countries around the world.
From this stage starting on December 11, 2025, based on verified credit card data, the event is more than 30 times oversubscribed than available tickets, which is more than the total number of fans attending all World Cup matches since 1930.
According to FIFA president Gianni Infantino, the 2026 World Cup will be the biggest and most comprehensive football event in the world, which will be a great display of global unity and love for the game.
This mega event will be played from June 11 to July 19, 2026 in 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America where 48 teams will participate in 104 matches.
The current phase for tickets will be open until 13 January 2026 and odds of winning will not be affected at the time of application.
Ticket prices have been maintained at this stage, while FIFA has also introduced a special US$60 supporter entry ticket department for fans.
Unsuccessful applicants will be given another chance at future rounds, with premium and travel packages also available.
