The famous player of Pakistan cricket team Imad Wasim has announced his divorce after admitting his differences with his wife for a long time.
Imad Wasim said in a statement published on the social networking site: “After long discussions and ongoing disputes that have not been resolved for several years, I filed for divorce.”
“I request you to respect our privacy and stop using or sharing our old photos and please do not refer to her as my wife in future,” he wrote.
Imad Wasim said that ‘everyone is requested not to believe and not to spread false statements in any way’.
“Any attempt to defame or implicate another person in this personal matter will be met with formal legal action if necessary,” he said.
The famous activist said that ‘I am a father to children and I will take care of them responsibly’.
It is worth mentioning that before now the news of Imad Wasim’s relationship with his wife was spreading, but it was not confirmed or denied by the crisis, but vague statements were made by his wife on social networks.
In July of this year, Saniya Eshfaq shared a photo of her son on social media and said: “I have kept you in my womb for 9 months, may God give Zayan more strength for the journey ahead of me.”
Imad Wasim announced his retirement from International Cricket a year ago in December 2024, he played 55 ODIs and 75 T20s for Pakistan and he also played some memorable games for the national team.
