The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has completed the technical evaluation for the auction of 2 Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams.
PCB received 12 from around the world for 2 new PSL teams, the committee shortlisted 10 after research.
10 parties that meet the technical criteria will be included in the auction stage, 2 new teams will be auctioned on January 8, 2026 in Islamabad.
Successful parties will be able to choose names from Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad and Sialkot. The auction process will be held at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer congratulated the successful bidders and said that the great interest of local and foreign investors is welcome.
He also said that the expansion of HBLPSL is approaching a milestone.
