Day 3 of the Dhaka Test ends, Pakistan for 386, Bangladesh by 34 runs

On the third day of the Dhaka test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Pakistan team lead by 386 runs, at the end of the day, Bangladesh scored 7 runs without losing any wicket, thus the home team’s lead reached 34 runs.

The national team started their first matches today with 179 runs for one wicket and the entire team was bowled out for 386 runs.

Azhan Oweys played with 103 runs, Abdullah Fazal 60, Muhammad Rizwan 59 and Salman Ali Akha played with 58 runs.

Among other batsmen, Imamul Haq scored 45 runs and Shahin Shah Afrini scored 13 runs.

On behalf of Bangladesh, Mahdi Hasan Miraz took 5 wickets while playing well, while Tasin Ahmed and Tejul Islam also dismissed 2 players.

Earlier, Azan Owais, who was playing for Pakistan, opened with 84 and Abdullah Fazal 37 runs, and soon after, Azan Owais, playing his first Test, completed his century.

He was later dismissed for 103 runs in the first session. Pakistan’s third wicket then fell to 226 runs when captain Shaan Masood was out for 9 runs.

In the last over, Pakistan’s fourth wicket fell on 227 runs when Saud Shakeel was dismissed for a zero, while the national team’s fifth wicket fell on 230 runs when Abdullah Fazal returned to the pavilion after 60 runs.

Muhammad Rizwan and Salman Axa put on a partnership for the sixth wicket to take the team to 349, with both batsmen scoring half-centuries, after which Muhammad Rizwan gave up 59 runs and was caught.

At the end of the third day, Bangladesh team scored 7 runs without loss and lead by 34 runs against Pakistan.

Earlier, the Bangladesh team was all out for 413 runs in the first innings. Najam-ul-Hasan Shanto scored 101, Momin-ul-Haq 91 and Mushfiqur-Rahim scored 71 runs.

From Pakistan, Muhammad Abbas took 5 wickets, Shaheen Afridi took 3 wickets, Noman Ali and Hasan Ali took one wicket each.
