South Africa national football team and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jay Dun Adams has died at the age of 25, who recently represented South Africa for the first time in the FIFA World Cup.

Jay Dunn Adams played in all three group stage matches at the FIFA World Cup, including being on the bench as a substitute in the Round of 32 match against Canada.

Regarding the death of the football player, unconfirmed news is spreading on social networks that the incident may be suicide due to depression, but the Mamelodi Sundowns club and the Adams family have not released any official statement in this regard. His death was confirmed only by his close relatives.

Brendyne Johnson, their guardian, spoke on behalf of the family and stated that the tragic event left everyone in deep shock.

According to him, he spoke with J Dun Adams two days ago and he was optimistic and excited about the new season and defending the title in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Football fans and personalities across South Africa have paid tribute to Jayden Adams and expressed their deep sorrow over his death.
