The head coach of the Pakistan Cricket team, Mike Hesson, dismissed the criticism of the pitches used in Pakistan as unnecessary in the context of preparations for the 2027 World Cup and said that the team is preparing for different conditions.
On X’s social networking site, Mike Hessen said that there is some talk about Pakistan’s pitches for World Cup preparations and I recently discussed the same issue.
He said the World Cup is not only being held in South Africa, but Zimbabwe and Namibia are also co-hosting it.
Continuing his speech, the head of the national team said that there are many places in Zimbabwe and Namibia where spinners play an important role and we should play matches there as well.
Mike Hessen said that it is not true that all the fields in South Africa are fast, but some places have such characteristics.
The Pakistan team coach said that spin bowling had a clear impact on Pearl’s match of Pakistan’s last ODI series in South Africa and we have done a lot of research and will be ready for all the conditions in the next 18 months.
