The second semi-final of the ICCT World Twenty20 is being played today between India and England and the winner will face New Zealand for the trophy on Sunday.
The first semi-final of the event was played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata where New Zealand won the match and invited South Africa to bat first.
Batting first, South Africa scored 169 runs for the loss of 8 wickets, with Marco Johnson leading the batsman with 55 runs.
The Kiwi team reached the final in the 13th over with the loss of 1 wicket in pursuit of the target of 170 runs. Seifert’s team scored 58 runs and Finn Allen was not out with 100 and Richan Ravindra with 13 runs.
