In the England player auction of The Hundred League 2026, the owner of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad Kavya Maran bought Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed for Sunrisers Leeds for crores.
In this regard, the President of the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) Rajeev Shukla made a statement about Abrar Ahmed’s participation and said that this matter is a foreign league and not our IPL.
Rajeev Shukla said this is his decision, we cannot do anything, this is not under our rule, he did it in a foreign league that he owns.
It is worth remembering that the Indian Sunrisers Leeds bought the Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed for 190 thousand pounds, the Indian owners are facing severe criticism for adding a player from Pakistan to the team.
