Dubai:

Waqar Younis is still optimistic about Nasim Shah, he says that ILT20 is a good opportunity for the pacer, the selectors will keep an eye on him.

According to details, Naseem Shah played only one match for Pakistan in the triangular series last month, he is currently representing Desert Vipers in the ongoing ILT20 in UAE.

In a speech in Dubai, former opener Waqar Younis said that Nasim Shah is still a good player, sometimes a player loses his form, if he does not bowl well, he should be dropped from the team, but ILT 20 is a good opportunity for Nasim Shah. No matter how well the players perform in each league, the selectors have an eye on them, which could give them a chance to return.

On Mitchell Starc, who broke Wasim Ekram’s record of 414 wickets, Waqar Yunis said that he is 35 years old but still performing well, I think Starc can play another 2-3 seasons.

When he retired from cricket, left-armers would be at the fore, Wasim Akram was a dangerous bowler, but there is no comparison between the two, they have their merits and demerits.

Waqar Younis called ILT 20 the best league and said its popularity was evident from the opening ceremony, so many people were waiting for the event to start, the league needs time to settle down but ILT Twenty has made significant progress in 4 years.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait also want to be associated with it, I am sure many other countries will also want to be associated with IL in the coming years, this will further develop the sport in the region.
