U-19 Asia Cup: Pakistan defeated Malaysia by a huge margin in the first match

In the ACC U-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan team made a successful start to the tournament by defeating Malaysia by a huge margin of 297 runs.

In the match played in Dubai, Militant won and invited Pakistan to bat first, in reply Pakistan scored 345 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 50 overs.

On behalf of Pakistan U-19, opening batsman Sameer Minhas scored 177 runs, he hit 8 sixes and 11 fours in 148 runs.

Apart from Sameer Minhas, Ahmed Hussain also batted confidently and scored 132 runs in 114 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes.

Chasing the target, the militia team was bowled out for just 48 runs in 19.4 overs. On behalf of Pakistan, Ali Raza and Muhammad Saim dismissed 3 players, Daniyal Ali took 2 wickets and Naqab Shafiq took 1 wicket.

In the ACC U-19 Asia Cup, Pakistan team will play their next match against traditional rivals India on Sunday.
