In the U-19 Asia Cup Group A match, Pakistan set a target of 346 runs to beat Malaysia.

In the match played in Dubai, Malaysia won and invited Pakistan to bat first. After 2 wickets fell early, Sameer Minhas and Ahmed Hussain put together a partnership of 293 runs for the third wicket.

Pakistan scored 345 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 50 overs.

Sameer Minhas scored 177 runs which included 8 sixes and 11 fours. Captain Farhan Yusif threw 8 runs and stayed out.

Ahmed Hussain after playing 132 runs, Usman Khan and Ali Hasan Baluch went out after 14 runs.
