In connection with the expansion of HBLPSL, two new teams will be auctioned today in Islamabad. The auction will be held at the Congress Center of Paradise and will officially start at 16:15.
According to PCB, two new franchises are being added to the league for the first time in the history of PSL, after which the number of teams will increase from 6 to 8 in the 11th season.
The auction proceedings will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channels of PCB and PSL, Tapmade, Tamasha and PCB Live (UK) and A Sports, Jio Sports, Fast Sports and PTV Sports will also telecast the auction live.
According to the sources, a tough competition between 10 major companies is expected to win new teams. Mnext, Deharki Sugar Mills, FKS, Prizm Developers, Anorex Solar, Jazz, i2c, Wiley Technologies, VigoTel and Ozzy Developers will participate in the auction.

PCB officials say that possible cities for the new franchisees include Faisalabad, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi and Sialkot, but the final decision will be taken after the auction. The 11th season of PSL is scheduled to be held from March 26 to May 3, 2026.
After the auction, a special event will be arranged where world famous singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will give a special performance. Prizes will also be given to the winning teams of Pakistan Shaheens and Hong Kong Super Sixes on this occasion.
According to the PCB, the official hashtag of the PSL auction event is #NewEra which signifies the new era and expansion of the league.
