Hardik Pandya celebrated the T20 World Cup win with his girlfriend Mahika Sharma on the ground and it was considered rude for the Indian cricketer to celebrate with his girlfriend by wrapping the Indian flag.
According to the Indian media, Advocate Wajid Khan has filed an FIR against Hardik Pandya in which he has expressed his position that Hardik wrapped the tricolor on his body and performed indecent acts on the ground.
The lawyer requested that an FIR be registered against Pandya for insulting the flag, lawyer Wajid Khan requested the Pune police to register a case.
According to the Indian media, it is stated in the petition that Hardik Pandya’s act is a violation of the relevant law, legal measures should be taken because of the crime, it is the responsibility of every citizen to respect the national flag.
Governor Wajid Khan said that according to the second article of the national flag law of 1971, honoring the national flag is mandatory, my request was accepted, now let’s see what steps are taken.
It is worth mentioning that Hardik Pandya’s girlfriend Mahika Sharma was on the field in celebration after beating New Zealand in the final.
